J&K Requests Telangana Govt To help Kashmiri Businesses Gutted in Numaish Fire
A video surfaced on twitter claiming that over 150 shops of Kashmiri businessmen had been gutted down in the fire at Numaish exhibition in Nampally. This woke a sense of concern among the people of Jammu & Kashmir(J&K) and got many people of power to send out tweets asking for help.
President of the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Democratic Party Mehbooba Mufti, sent out a tweet to the J&K Governor and the Telangana Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) asking for help. Her tweet read, “Huge losses amounting to crores suffered by Kashmiri shop owners in Hyderabad. Request @jandkgovernor & @TelanganaCMO to ensure whatever help is possible.”
Former Chief Minister of J&K Omar Abdullah also sent out a plea of help for these Kashmiris, addressing it to the working president of TRS KT Rama Rao (KTR). His tweet read, “KTR garu May I please request you on behalf of these people who lost all their material in the market fire in Hyderabad for any assistance at all that can be provided to them. Will be personally grateful Jenab. @KTRTRS.” To this KTR was soon to respond and tweeted back saying, “Sure Omar Saab. Will take up the issue with Hon'ble CM sir.”
