The complainant tried to tell Siddaramaiah about the lack of development work in the constituency, but the former chief minister got impatient and rose to lean and pull the mic from her hand. The Congress leader ended up tugging at her dupatta instead, evoking sharp criticism from various quarters.
Ironically, for Siddaramaiah the incident came on the heels of his moralistic tweet taking a dig at Union Minister Ananth Kumar Hegde
on public decency.
.@AnantkumarH is not fit to be an MP. He should apologise & resign immediately for his insensitive comments towards @dineshgrao & also for his provocative statements aimed at creating social conflicts.
