Rough to very rough sea conditions are likely to prevail over central, south and northwest Arabian Sea and central & south Bay of Bengal. Fishermen are advised not to venture into the sea over these areas.

Day 2 (19 Aug.): Heavy to very heavy rain at isolated places very likely over Nagaland-Manipur-Mizoram-Tripura, Odisha, south Konkan & Goa, Chhattisgarh and coastal & south interior Karnataka.

Day 5 (22 Aug.): Heavy rain at isolated places likely over Assam & Meghalaya, Nagaland-Manipur-Mizoram-Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal & Sikkim, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.

Weather Outlook for the subsequent 2 days (23 & 24 Aug. 2018) : Widespread rain likely over parts of east India and adjoining northern plains and northeast India and fairly widespread to widespread rainfall over Western Himalayan region, east central India and along the northern half of the west coast.

Scattered to fairly widespread rainfall likely over remaining parts of India except over southeast peninsula and parts of northwest India where isolated rainfall likely.
