The story of India's surgical strike on terrorist hubs in Pakistan is being made into a Bollywood film produced by Vijay Valbhani and Sonu Jain. The film featured Actors Deepraj Rana, Mir Sarvar, Lakha Lakhwinder Singh, Jimmy Sharma, Sanjay Singh, Amit Pathak and Vedita Pratap Singh as army officers titled Surgical Strike. It has been two year of Surgical strike and this word is still making news around India. While talking to the media Vijay Valbhani said, “surgical strikes shooting weren’t possible without the support of the Jammu and Kashmir government. Through surgical strikes movie we are sending a message to Pakistan that Indian Army can do anything. During the shooting of movie we got support from local people and leader from Jammu and Kashmir. They had supported us lot”.

The surgical strike was carried out by Indian Army Para SF across LoC in PoK was in response to the tragic Uri terror attack. Experts cited it as a befitting action against Pakistan’s terror backing policy. On 18th September, 2016 militants attacked Uri camp, martyring 19 soldiers. Just 11 days later, the DGMO announced the surgical strikes were executed, killing at least 38 terrorists and few Pak army men. “The film is the story of what happened in those eleven days,” said, Sonu Jain.
