National recognition for GHMC worker

Hyderabad: A 49 year-old sanitary department worker associated with Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) T Venkataiah was recognised by the Union Ministry for Urban Development, Housing and Urban Poverty Alleviation as ‘best worker’. He will be felicitated with ‘Swacha Suraksha- 2017’ award by the central ministry.

Venkataiah will receive the award from Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the award function on August 6. The sanitary worker of GHMC has got the national level recognition for his dedication towards his duty.
