IT Raids On Radhika Kumaraswamy’s House, Saravana Bhavan, Anjappar Hotels under Radar For Tax Evasion

Bengaluru/Chennai: Income Tax raids across 60 locations in Karnataka created ripples in political and business circles. The ongoing raids began on Thursday simultaneously in all locations. Incidentally, most of the people targeted by the IT authorities are from the film industry. Karnataka Chief Minister Kumaraswamy’s second wife Radhika, Kannada film producer Rockline Venkatesh, Kannada actor late Rajkumar’s children Puneeth Raj kumar and Shiva Rajkumar  houses are being raided.

Apart from them hero Sudeep, KGF fame actor Yash and producer of the movie KGF, Vijay’s houses are under scanner.  IT raids on CM Kumaraswamy’s wife’s house is being dubbed as politically motivated by the JD(s) party leaders.

In another instance in Chennai, famous hotels in Tamil Nadu are said to be under the scanner of Income Tax officials. Totally 32 locations are being raided by the officials at the same time. Raids are going on in Saravana Bhavan and Anjappar hotels over tax evasion it is learned.
