Narsingi Woman Jumps To Death Over Job Failure

Hyderabad: A woman jumped from her apartment building on Monday after reeling under depression over failure to land a job at company post interview. The incident took place on Monday evening under Narsingi police station limits.

According to the police, the woman attended an interview at Shamshabad and went into depression as she was not selected for it. She returned to her apartment and jumped off the 18th floor of the building.

The residents of the apartment alerted the police, who rushed to the spot and examined it. The police registered a case of suicide and sent the body for post-mortem.

Last week, two girls, who are studying Class 10 in an international school jumped from the eight floor of the apartment in Chitra Layout at Nagole due to the academic pressure. The deceased identified as Sravani and Bhargavi were close friends and the duo are from the same school.
