Narrow Escape For Passengers As Bus Catches Fire in Vizianagaram

Vizianagaram: About 25 passengers had a narrow escape when a private bus caught fire in Vizianagaram, on Tuesday.

The bus belonging to Vijaya Lakshmi Private Travels was proceeding to Araku from Vizianagaram when passengers noticed flames from the engine. They immediately alerted the driver and deboarded the bus. The bus was completely burnt down in the ensuing fire. Preliminary investigations attributed the fire to short circuit.
