Hyderabad: YSR Congress Party's (YSRCP) Naramalli Padmaja, on Saturday, strongly condemned the comments of Minister Adinarayana Reddy on Leader of Opposition YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

During a press meet, she said the AP animal husbandry minister got sold to the TDP like cattle in a market. "Chief minister Chandrababu Naidu is instigating his ministers to comment on YS Jagan in order to hide his own failures in governing the state. The YSRCP leader countered a 100-year-old party such as the Congress and started a new party that won 67 MLA seats. Whereas the TDP ministers who got sold for the lure of money and to hide their criminal cases do not have any right to comment," she said. The YSRCP spokesperson said that Adinarayana Reddy switched loyalties to TDP in order to protect the Kesava Reddy educational institutions from a Rs 80 crore scam. "The TDP leaders cannot list out the welfare programme implemented during the past four years. They are unable to digest the massive public response to YS Jagan's Praja Sankalpa Yatra. Hence, they are resorting to comments on the opposition," Padmaja added.

The TDP chief and his ministers should conduct a press conference and acknowledge the failures of the state government, she suggested and said that making comments on a selfless and righteous leader like YS Jagan will attract the wrath of the people.
