Nani To Play Sr NTR?

Mahanati is the title of the upcoming Telugu film that is being made as a biopic on the legendary actress Savitri. Keerthy Suresh is going to be seen as Mahanati Savitri and many prominent actors are going to be a part of the project in key roles.

While Mohan Babu plays SV Ranga Rao in the movie, there are other actors who will be seen in key roles. The makers are finding it hard convincing JR NTR to play SR NTR.

Apparently, the film's producer Aswini Dutt tried to convince NTR, but he is noncommittal to get into the shoes of his grandfather’s role. The makers are clueless about whom to cast for the role and the buzz is that they might approach Nani for the same role but nothing is confirmed yet.
