Nani predicts sweep for YSRCP in 2014

Gudivada MLA, Kodali Nani who joined the YSR Congress Party officially in the presence of the YSRCP Honorary President Y S Vijayamma, said that the party will sweep the general elections in 2014 and added that no force could prevent Jagan from  becoming the Chief Minister.

The MLA  said that he was  happy on  joining the YSRCP and also on being associated with a dynamic, young leader like  Y.S Jagan Mohan Reddy. Nobody could stop the groundswell of support for the  YSRCP, he said.

Jagan did not compromise on his self-respect and the highhanded ways of the Congress high command, according to him. Nani compared this to the manner in which N T Rama Rao had also upheld the self-respect of the Telugu people when he founded the Telugu Desam Party.  Nani was  addressing a  huge gathering at Pamarru.

He recalled many of the welfare schemes put in place by Dr. Rajasekhara Reddy including Arogyasri, pensions for widows and disabled and  fee reimbursement.  

Nani  said that Chandrababu's proposed padayatra and  BC declaration are just political stunts aimed at getting votes.

He ruled out  rumours of  the YSRCP merging with the Congress party and said that these falsehoods were put out by the TDP and Congress as they cannot face the YSRCP in the general elections.
