Nandyal Bypoll: Silpa Brothers Meet, TDP Gets Nervous

In a major development that could significantly influence the political trend in the poll-bound Nandyal, YSRCP candidate and former minister Silpa Mohan Reddy met his brother and TDP MLC Silpa Chakrapani Reddy and sought his support in the upcoming elections.

Silpa Mohan Reddy sought Chakrapani's support in the name of Dharma. Chakrapani is still with the TDP and this is the first time both the siblings are meeting. Interestingly, though Chakrapani is still in the TDP, the local TDP leaders are keeping him away from key meetings. Minister Bhuma Akhilapriya is reportedly trying to belittle Chakrapani. Recently when Chandrababu visited Nandyal, Chakrapani was not seen anywhere. TDP had also tried to put him down on several occasions.

Reports say that Mohan Reddy asked Chakrapani to join hands with him. He is reportedly said to have asked him as to where was the need for the siblings to be in different parties.

The TDP, which is unnerved by these developments, is suddenly trying to placate Chakrapani Reddy.
