Naidu at it again, 500 TDP cadres quit party - Sakshi Post

Ignoring the statue of party founder NT Rama Rao by none other than Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N Chandrababu Naidu proved him costly. Angry party activists, numbering about 500, immediately announced their decision to walk out

of the TDP in protest.
The incident took place at Guntakal in Ananthapur district today. Naidu, who is on his padayatra in the district, reached Guntakal this afternoon. En route his padayatra, he passed through the NTR statue but Naidu conveniently ignored it. When the TDP activists alerted him that he is passing through the statue of the party founder, who is also his mentor, and that at least he should garland the statue to honor the late leader, Naidu conveniently ignored their words.
Unable to digest the snub to the late NTR, the party workers made an attempt to express their displeasure. What is worse is that his security personnel pounced on the protestors and even manhandled some of them.
Strongly condemning the indifferent attitude towards the late NTR, 500 TDP workers, led by their leaders Linganna and Narayana, immediately announced their decision to walk out of the party.
Naidu, who is undertaking his padayatra in order to move closer to the party cadre, is, surprisingly annoying them which is certainly a cause of concern for the TDP seniors.
