Naidu arrested for protesting, released later

TDP president Chandra Babu Naidu and other TDP leaders were taken into preventive custody near KBR Park, after the police stopped them from taking out a procession to the secretariat, a senior police officer said.

Naidu demanded immediate reversal of decision to cap the reimbursement amount for engineering students at Rs 31,000 per annum.
Members of some student organisations tried to storm the ministers' quarters at Banjara Hills, however, police foiled the attempt and took several students into custody.

Chandra babu Naidu and other TDP leaders were taken into custody and released later.
