Hyderabad: Telugu girl, Swathi, died under mysterious circumstances in London in what her parents allege is a case of dowry harassment and murder.

Swathi, a native of Warangal, is a daughter of Tirumalagiri Swaminathan and Bharati. She married Sripathi Rajesh in 2016 when he was working in Singapore. Later, the couple moved to London after Rajesh got a 'better job'. However, after shifting to London he began to harass Swathi for more dowry. On Wednesday night, Rajesh called-up her parents and told that Swathi died.

The shocked parents of the girl, staged a protest in front of Rajesh's parents house in Warangal. They alleged that Swathi was harassed for more dowry and then murdered.
