My son not a coward to commit suicide: Uday Kiran's father

Hyderabad,Uday Kiran's father, Murthy expressing shock and disbelief at his son's death said that his son was not a coward to commit suicide. Not ruling out foul play, Murthy said that Kiran was worth many crores, and maybe there was some relation between assets and his suicide.

The distraught father added that now nothing can be done and that everyone should be strong in their lives to achieve their goals.

Murthy who had strained relations with his deceased son said that for the last six years, the duo were not in talking terms. Murthy had accused Uday of misusing his property and this had caused a rift between the two. "Uday Kiran didn't even inform me about his wedding. I don't think Uday had financial problems," he said. Murthy will go to see Uday Kiran's body after his daughter arrives from abroad.
