My son didn't commit any mistake: MP Anjan Kumar Yadav - Sakshi Post

Secunderabad MP Anjan Kumar Yadav, on Monday justified his son's misdemeanor  by saying that huge number of people participated in Holi revelry and because of that traffic was halted, and his son was not the only one responsible for the traffic block.

The Hussainialam police booked a criminal case against Arvind Kumar Yadav for allegedly attacking a constable  on Sunday night.

Speaking to media after participating in the Holi celebrations at Indira park, the Secunderabad MP said, "My son, Aravind went there, and yes, some rift did take place, but he did not assault anyone."

He however, added that he never encourage such acts and punishment should be given to any person if they resort to such behaviour.

Aravind along with others were indulging in Holi celebrations, by lighting a  bonfire on the road near Golla Khidki.

On being questioned and persuaded by a constable to clear the bonfire, the latter, G Vamshi, was beaten up by Arvind.

The incident happened right in front of the MP’s house. Vamshi was rushed to hospital for treatment. Later, he lodged a complaint with Hussainialam police who booked Arvind under sections 332 (voluntarily causing hurt to deter a public servant from discharging his duty) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC.

It is learnt that Anjan Kumar is trying to use his influence to get his son out of the mess.

According to police, Aravind is absconding and a manhunt has been launched to find him.
