Mutha Mestri Producer Dies Of Heart Attack

Hyderabad: Famous yesteryear film maker KC Sekhar Babu passed away in the wee hours of Saturday. He is 73.

Sekhar Babu suffered a cardiac stroke at his residence in Journalist Colony. Sekhar Babu made several films catering to family audiences and most of them were hits. Among the films he made are Mamatha, Samsara Bandham, Gopalaravu Gari Ammayi, Sardar, Chilakamma etc. With Mega Star Chiranjeevi, he made blockbuster Mutha Maestri.

Sekhar Babu was born on May 1, 1946 in Kolavennu of Krishna district. His father was a film distributor and Sekhar Babu entered the film industry soon after he finished his intermediate course.

He also worked as a top functionary of the Film Producers Council and the Film Chambers of Commerce.
