Murdered Mayor's Son to Get Police Protection

Chittoor: Katari Praveen, the son of Chittoor's former Mayor Katari Anuradha and Mohan, was provided police protection.
The move follows revelations by some of the accused, who are in police custody, that Praveen was one the targets in the deadly attack that killed the Mayor and her husband.
They also told the police that corporator Kanda, Mohan's right hand man Prassanna, the Mayor's brothers Gopi and Kishore were the other targets of their attacks.
Meanwhile, one of the injured in the attacks Satish was discharged from CMC Vellore. He also is being provided security detail. Police have already questioned him regarding the sequence of events on the day of the attacks. They are also reviewing the phone records of people present at the municipal office at the time of the attack on November 17.
