Woman tortures mother for treasure trove
Anantapur: As the world inches closer to celebrating the Mother's Day, A daughter tortured her mother for hidden treasure.
The ghastly incident occurred in Puttaparthi of Anantapur district. The woman's only daughter Shanti was told by an astrologer that she would get a treasure trove and took her father Chandra Rayudu to torture her mother Ramanjanamma.
Ramanjanamma was found in a critical state with several wounds on her body. She was admitted to a hospital for treatment. Shanthi and Chandra Rayudu are now cooling their heels in the prison.
