Mother bludgeons Drunkard Son To Death

In an incident that sent shock waves, a woman bludgeoned her drunkard son to death with a wooden pulveriser. The incident occurred in Erukalagudem village of Manthani mandal in Peddapalli district.

According to the police, Eernala Renuka bludgeoned her son Eernala Dinesh. He died on the spot. The police said that Dinesh was a habitual drunkard and used to beat his mother in an inebriated condition. On Monday too, Dinesh came home drunk and attacked Renuka. Unable to bear it anymore, she took a wooden pulveriser and hit him repeatedly on the head in the early hours of Tuesday. Dinesh slumped and died on the spot. She informed the police about the incident and surrendered to them. The police registered a case and are probing the incident.
