Morphed CM picture removed from Facebook

Morphing photos and posting abusive messages are common  on social networking sites, especially Facebook and Twitter.

We have seen morphed pictures of several politicians on Facebook. This time, the victim was none other than our Chief Minister, Kiran Kumar Reddy.

It is learned that pro-Telangana activists are behind the morphed CM picture. It was them who morphed the picture and posted it in Telangana Muddubidda website.

This morphed photo has created a sensation resulting in PCC official spokesperson, Maddineni Ajay and others lodging a police complaint to arrest the culprits.

Following the complaint, the Cyber Crime Cell was quick to get to work. They began a probe into the case and also got the photo removed from the website.

It is learnt that the photo was posted with a message: "same treatment for any Seemandhra leader opposing Telangana state."

The person who posted the picture claimed that they were fans of TRSV leader Balka Suman, Marri Sunil, Telangana Sandhya, and Venkat fans association.

Agitations for a separate Telangana state isn't new. However, the pro-Telangana activists have now intensified their agitation by entering the social networking site where the message reaches faster. Looks like this is their new strategy to seek an early response.
