Mopidevi seeks interim bail in CBI court citing illness
Former excise minister Mopidevi Venkataramana, who was arrested by the CBI for his alleged role in the Vanpic case, filed a petition in the CBI court on Thursday seeking interim bail on medical grounds.
In the petition, he mentioned that he was suffering from severe illness.
It may be recalled that the court last month denied bail petition for him and directed the jail officials to provide treatment in the jail itself.
