Mopidevi gets 45-day interim bail on health grounds

A special CBI court at Nampally on Monday granted interim bail to former minister Mopidevi Venkataramana for 45 days on medical grounds.
The court while giving interim bail, has set several conditions.
Mopidevi was directed to execute a bond for Rs one lakh with two sureties of like sum, surrender her passport and not leave the city and not interfere in the CBI investigation.
The former minister filed a petition in the CBI court on Thursday last seeking interim bail on medical grounds. In the petition, he mentioned that he was suffering from chronic back pain due to problem in his spinal cord. He appealed to the court to grant him bail on medical grounds for at least three months.
