Mopidevi and Dharmana to attend court on Jan4
The CBI court on Monday adjourned the hearing on the CBI's petition that government consent was not needed for prosecuting Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao and former minister Mopidevi Venkata Ramana to January 4.
The court also directed that Dharmana and Mopidevi be present in the court on that day.
It may be recalled here that earlier, the state cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister N. Kiran Kumar Reddy, rejected the CBI request to sanction prosecution of Dharmana.
But, Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan has rejected the Cabinet’s recommendation.
