Mohan Babu flays Censor Board official

Tollywood hero and film maker Mohan Babu today lambasted Film Censor Board official Dhana Lakshmi for, what he called, trying to create hurdles in the release of his latest flick “Denikina Ready”.

Alleging that Dhana Lakshmi is subjecting Telugu film producers to untold hardships, Mohan Babu said that he was being harassed unnecessarily in the case of the release of the film “Denikina Ready”. The movie, produced by him and featuring his son, Vishnu in the lead role, hit the screens across Andhra Pradesh yesterday.

Terming it as unfortunate that some Censor Board members are not familiar with Telugu, the Tollywood hero said that he had already met the top police bosses of the State in case if there is any problem arising out of the trouble. 

 “I have already lodged a complaint with the senior police officers. If need be, I do not mind dragging the issue to New Delhi,” he thundered. He even threatened to come out with more facts tomorrow with regard to Dhana Lakshmi’s vindictive attitude.

Taking strong exception to such “corrupt” official being elevated to the high body like the Censor Board, Mohan Babu questioned the authorities selected her for the “coveted” post.
