Modugula simmers over denial of ministerial berth

Modugula Venugopala Reddy, MLA of Guntur (West) constituency, expressed his dissatisfaction over the denial of ministerial berth to him.

Speaking to reporters at the assembly in Hyderabad, he said that he could not find place in Chandrababu Naidu’s cabinet despite his untiring fight for the people.

He said he had worked for the welfare of the people in his stint as the MP of Narasaraopet earlier.

“The bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh could not have happened if Lagadapati Rajgopal used pepper spray just three minutes before he did the same on the day of introduction of AP Reorganisation Bill in Lok Sabha,” said the MLA.

He commented that AICC president Sonia Gandhi was committed on bifurcation of the state and so the state had to be bifurcated.
