Modi's Dhanteras greeting lands in controversy

Is Modi's social media team resorting to plagiarism and copyright violation? Yes, says US based Nepali photographer Bimal Nepal.

 He says the photographs that he posted on his Facebook and Instagram pages were straightlifted by team Modi and posted Dhanteras greetings on the Facebook. (See the original and the lifted photo).

“I am truly honored that Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is using one of my photographs in his Facebook page. My greatest question and concern is—there is no credit for the photographer,” Nepal wrote on his Facebook account.

Interestingly, Nepal is a fan of Modi, but doesn't approve the way the photo was used without informing him.
