With the demonetisation euphoria dying down slowly, the TDP is on a re-think mode. After Chandrababu's boastful claims of advising Prime Minister Narendra Modi to demonetise high denomination notes in the wake of Modi's boldest yet decision, the TDP leaders are slowly voicing their criticism of the move.

Rayapati says Modi has appointed a committee under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu only to extricate out of an ill-advised decision.

Several leaders have already said that the move was ill-planned. But, they fell silent after Chandrababu claimed credit for the move. But, with no end in site for cash note crunch, businessman turned MP Rayapati Sambasiva Rao has spoken about it. He said Modi has created a muddle and has muddied himself. He said that Modi has appointed a committee under the leadership of Chandrababu Naidu only to extricate out of an ill-advised decision.

He further said that part of the blame is now being thrust on the TDP to for backing the move. He said there seems to be no end in sight for the common man's woes due to the demonetisation.

He, however, slammed the Congress Party for stalling Parliament. They are the biggest hoarders of black money and are finding it very difficult to exchange it with valid notes, Rayapati said.
