Modi asks BJP MPs not to cross 'Lakshman Rekha' - Sakshi Post

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday reportedly warned his party law makers not cross the line while making statements. Reportedly, PM also said law makers are hurting party's image by their controversial statements and also warned them not to cross the "Laxman Rekha."

PM reportedly talked tough at the BJP's parliamentary party meeting and also said development work undertaken by law makers should be physically visible. He is also unhappy with the comments made by his lawmakers since last couple of weeks. This comment of the PM comes in the wake of MP Sakshi Maharaj calling Nathuram Godse a "patriot" and MP  Sadhvi Niranjan making Ram-Haram' comments. Opposition attacked the government and successfully stalled the Parliament, putting the government to great embarrassment.
