Model-cum-TV Anchor Commits Suicide

Ahmedabad: Khushboo Bhatt, a 27-year-model, committed suicide at her home by hanging herself from the ceiling fan on Sunday.
Khushboo, who also worked as a TV anchor, was staying with his father Minesh (59) and grandmother (92) at Sukruti Tower in Jodhpur. Police didn’t find a suicide note and the motive behind her suicide is yet to be known. Preliminary investigation revealed that Khushboo left in the middle of lunch and locked herself in the room.
"Khushboo's father asked her not to serve him large quantity of food as he was a diabetic. She got upset with this and then went inside the room. When she did not open the door for a long time, the family broke into the room and found her hanging," police said.
A case of suicide has been registered. Meanwhile, her last rites would take place after her brother returns from Australia.
