MLA Vivekananda smokes in public, draws flak.

As per law, smoking is strictly prohibited in public places.  In spite of being aware of this rule, people seldom abide by it.

Now Nellore rural MLA Anam Vivekananda Reddy has also joined that list.  Anam has come under severe criticism after he was caught smoking in public during a Rachabanda program in Nellore. In spite of having children among his audience, he chose to smoke. Ironically, Anam also went on to give a lecture on smoking to the children. "cigarette thagani vadu siggu leni vadu, cigarette tage vaadu shivudu koduku, beedi thagu vaadu bhimuni koduku," he said.
Taking a serious exception to this, TDP district-in-charge Srinivasula Reddy lodged a complaint with the Nellore police and demanded the police to arrest him immediately.
