MLA Shankar Rao may be booked for blackmail

Problems for former minister and MLA Shankar Rao is far from over. He has been linked to a number of cases—greenfield-scam, harassment and defamation case.

Now, police are preparing to book a blackmailing case against him.

Sources say that cops who questioned Shankar Rao over derogatory remarks against Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and DGP Dinesh Reddy, learnt that Rao was involved in blackmailing too.
