MLA Kannababu gets tax notice from GVMC

Congress MLA Uppalapati Venkata Ramana Murthi Raju alias Kannababu from Yalamanchili in Vizianagaram District has received notices from Greater Visakha Municipal Corporation (GVMC) for not paying property tax.
GHMC issued notice asking him to pay property tax of Rs. 19,000, on Saturday.
It may be mentioned here that the Congress MLA is accused of illegally acquiring land and built his residence. Recently, the ACB had raided his home in connection with the illegal assets case. There is a case against him in the Lokayaukta court as well.
The Endowment Department had already issued notices to him on the land deal.
