MLA Chirumarti Lingaiah violates model code of conduct, booked

A  case has been booked against Nakrekal MLA Chirumarti Lingaiah in Nalgonda district for violating model code of conduct, reports said.

The case was registered by the Kattamguru police on Thursday. SI Rama Rao said that the Congress MLA was conducting rallies and public meetings at Kalmera and Parada villages in view of Sarpanch elections without permission.

As per election code, leaders must get permission to conduct rallies.
