MLA Chintamaneni Creates Ruckus, Drives Away Traffic Violators

Eluru: TDP MLA Chintamaneni Prabhakar is once again in the news for the wrong reasons.

On Monday, the MLA from Denduluru constituency entered into an altercation with traffic police personnel who were issuing challans near the old busstand. Questioning the policemen as to why they were writing challans, he promptly sent away the motorists who were waiting for the challans. This is the second instance in recent times when the MLA stopped the traffic police from issuing challans.

Protesting the attitude of Chintamaneni, the traffic police lodged a compliant with the Superintendent of Police. They stated that the MLA has been regularly preventing them from discharging their duties.
