Missing Street Dogs Poisoned Ahead of Ivanka’s Hyderabad Visit?

Hyderabad: That US President Donald Trump's Daughter Ivanka is visiting Hyderabad is no news anymore. But what's the music to the ears is the fact that the city is getting readied to welcome the US President's daughter. It’s sure a blessing in disguise for commuters as lanes and pothole-ridden roads leading to Hi-Tech city have all been repaired.

Now, a latest report in a leading English daily reveals that the civic authorities are picking up stray dogs to avoid menace. According to a news report that appeared in Deccan Chronicle, residents of Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills have raised a concern over the sudden disappearance of stray dogs from their streets. It is learned that the GHMC officials poisoned several stray dogs before shifting them to an undisclosed location. After cracking down on street beggars, all of a sudden, the civic authorities are after stray dogs, rued citizens.

Ivanka Trump is scheduled to visit the city to attend Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) by the end of this month.
