Missing of AK-47 from court custody?

In a shocking incident, AK-47 rifle and 50 rounds of bullets and other ammunition is found missing from Mahaboobnagar court on Thursday.

The police had seized the weapons when the Maoists shot dead former Amanagallu MPP Panthu Nayak a few years ago. They were handed over to the custody of Mahaboobnagar family court when the case came up for trial. As the court staff found missing of the weapons, a complaint was given to the police on Thursday. Police launched an investigation to trace the missing AK-47.
