Missing Girl Poornima Sai Found In Mumbai; She Left Home To Join Bollywood 

Hyderabad: The mystery of Poornima Sai's case has come to an end with the girl who went missing over a month ago was traced in Mumbai on Sunday by the Cyberabad police. A senior official said that girl will be brought to the city by Monday evening.

Poornima, a class 10 student and resident of Nizampet, left her home on June 7 on the pretext of going to school, and boarded a train to Mumbai aspiring to become an actress in Bollywood movies. The girl used to chat on her Instagram account with some TV celebs which encouraged her to try her luck in the glamour industry.

The girl upon landing Mumbai took police's help for shelter by misguiding the police with a false name as Anika Shree who is an orphan and belonging to Tukaram Gate in Hyderabad. The girl was accommodated in an NGO - Balasudhar Gruh.

After an intense search for the girl, the city police have recently changed the missing case to a kidnap case and alerted all police stations in the country.

The NGO where Poornima was staying realized that the girl was actually Poornima Sai and informed the Mumbai police. They informed the Cyberabad police about the girl and the missing-kidnap case of Poornima Sai was finally resolved.

It became a big mystery for the city police as Poornima, a class 10 student of Bhashyam school, deleted the history of her social media activity on Facebook, WhatsApp and Instagram. An official said that the girl was not interested in coming back to home and that's why she erased all her history and gave wrong information to the Mumbai police. To track down the girl, 14 teams in Vizag, Chennai and Mumbai were deployed and of late the Bachupally police changed the case from missing to kidnap.

Poornima Refuses To Go Back Home

The officials and the girl's parents who reached the NGO in Mumbai on Monday were taken aback after Poornima Sai refused to go with them to her home. Reports say that girl is hell-bent on staying in Mumbai to take up her acting career. The officials have decided to counsel the girl and convince her to go back to her place.
