Miscreants attack lady ticket collector in Begumpet

Hyderabad, In a shocking incident, eight men attacked a female ticket collector at Begumpet railway station in Hyderabad on Wednesday.

As per reports, ticket collector, Kousalya, miscreants attacked her when she asked them to produce their tickets at Begumpet MMTS railway station. She suffered grievous injuries in the incident. She was immediately rushed to Lallaguda hospital for treatment.

The police registered a case and nabbed the four of the accused into custody. A search is on for the remaining four persons. This is the second such incident of attacking a railway official on duty in one week's time.

Earlier, Geeta, a woman ticket examiner, was pushed out of a moving MMTC train when she asked a passenger to produce his ticket in Hafeezpet railway station here on Friday.
