Minister’s recommendation letter for Kabali tickets
Chennai: Kabali fever has been gripping all sections of the society including political leaders as well. Where there’s competition, people look to political power to over come it. Superstar Rajinikanth’s latest movie Kabali is no exception to this.
Theatre managers are under severe pressure as recommendation letters for Kabali movie tickets from several ministers are flooding their offices. For instance, a senior personal assistant to Tamil Nadu Information and Publicity Minister issued a letter to Abhirami theatre in Chennai requesting the manager to issue 10 tickets to the bearer of the letter.
With the mounting pressure from Superstar’s fans associations, theatre managers are now facing a tough time in the wake of flooding letters from ministers also.
Kabali will be releasing in more than 750 theatres across the state including some 40 screens in Chennai region alone. The superstar’s movie is releasing in over 500 screens in US including 250 each screens for Tamil and Telugu versions.
