Ministers give Assembly session a miss

A day after no-confidence motion to topple the Kiran government failed, the Assembly wore a deserted look on Saturday.

The ongoing session in the state Assembly had a think population with many MLAs across parties deciding to give the session a miss. It is learnt that most ministers decided to stay back at home after a hectic no-trust vote that continued till 2 this morning.

As soon as the Assembly session began on Saturday, the TRS MLAs carrying placards stopped the functioning of the Assembly, raising slogans in favor of a separate Telangana state. The House has been adjourned twice since morning.
