Minister Ganta's car hits scooter, 2 seriously injured

Two persons including a woman were seriously injured after their scooter was hit by the vehicle of education minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao near Somannapalem of Yalamanchili in Vizag on Monday afternoon.

According to reports, the injured have been identified as Srinivasa Rao and his wife Lakshmi.
They sustained severe injuries when minister's speeding vehicle knocked them down. The minister was returning to his home after attending 'Janmabhoomi-Mavuru' programme.
The couple fell on the road and Lakshmi suffered serious head injuries. They were immediately rushed to a hospital in Yalamanchili. Later, Lakshmi was shifted to a hospital in Anakapalli and her condition is said to be critical.
