Amravati: Senior TDP leader and Union Aviation Minister Ashok Gajapathi Raju skipped the crucial meeting of Telugu Desam Parliamentary Party yesterday here. This has led several doubts and many raised eyebrows. It has also raised questions on the alleged sour relations between him and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Chandrababu Naidu.

At a time when the TDP government is making hue and cry over meager allocations to the state in the Union Budget, Gajapathi Raju skipping the meeting assumed significance. Were there any strong reasons behind his absence?

Several rumours have been doing the rounds that all is not well between Gajapathi Raju and the Chief Minister for the past a few months. However, sources in the TDP claimed that the Minister could not attend the crucial meeting as he had just arrived from China tour on Saturday.
