Minister Ahmadullah's car hits bike, victim critical
One person was critically injured when he was hit by a car belonging to a minister of YSR District on Sunday.
According to reports, Minority Welfare Minister Syed Mohammed Ahmadullah's speeding car hit a two wheeler badly injuring a priest.
The residents of the area rescued the priest and admitted him to the nearby Himalaya hospital. The localites vented their anger against the minister for his negligence. Eye witnesses say that the minister sped away without even bothering to check the condition of the injured priest. The residents raised slogans, demanding an apology and compensation from the minister. With the situation turning tense, CI Nageswar intervened and pacified them by assuring Rs 70,000 from the minister to the victim.
Ahmadullah was traveling from YSR district to Vempalli when the incident occurred.
