Milk Van Turns Turtle Near Ghatkesar ORR

Hyderabad: A milk van lost control and tripped down the Outer Ring Road (ORR) in Ghatkesar mandal this afternoon. The driver of the van, Venkateswara Rao (40) was injured in the accident and he has been shifted to a local hospital for treatment.

The van was carrying full-load of milk and it is estimated that around 15,000 litres of milk has been wasted due to the accident. The van belongs to Sri Lakshmi Traders of Guntur. It is learnt that the van was transporting milk from Nagpur in Maharashtra to Heritage company in Hyderabad. While driving on the ORR, the driver lost control over the speeding van and heavy vehicle skid and turned topsy turvy.
