Mild tremors in Guntur and Prakasam

Mild tremors caused panic in Guntur and parts of Prakasam district of  AP in the wee hours of Wednesday.

People of Ongole, Addanki, Korishapadu and few other parts of Prakasam felt the tremours and those sleeping on the floors and terraces ran out in panic at around 6:10 am. The tremors continued for 6-7 seconds. However, no damage or casualty was reported from anywhere.
At similar hours, many people of Guntur district also experienced mild tremors which lasted for 4-5 seconds. The people of Maddirala, Rajapet, Eddavalli, Murikipudi villages felt the tremors.
