Midnight high drama in Hyderabad over MP hubby's kidnap

* Says Talasani's son snatched away his documents

Araku MP Kothapalli Geetha's husband Ramakoteswara Rao's sudden disappearance sent the police into a tizzy and shocked the political circles alike on Wednesday evening. In the end, the MP's husband returned home well after midnight.
The high drama began in the evening when MP, who won on YSRCP ticket and later defected to the TDP, complaining to the police that some unidentified persons had kidnapped her husband. She said the miscreants forcibly stuffed him into a car and sped away. The police swung into action to locate Rao.
But, at around 12 in the night, Rao returned home. He said none kidnapped him and added that he was discussing business deals with Telangana minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav's son Sai Yadav and another person, whom he identified as Ramakrishna in Taj Krishna hotel. However, he also revealed to the police that the minister's son had snatched away documents of his lands in Hyderabad and forced him to affix signitures on some other documents.
West Zone DCP Venkateswara Rao told mediapersons that they would conduct investigation once a written complaint is filed.
