Metro rail now looks for parking spaces

With the Metro rail works entering key stage of operationalisation, the L and T, which constructed the Metro track, is looking for parking places to allow the commuters park their personalized vehicles.Also, the authorities are looking at ways and means to provide mini buses to ferry across the Metro rail commuters.
The L and T has began a study on the issue and automobile major Mahindra and Mahindra has been asked to make an assessment. Given the likely commuter rush, the L and T is planning to have 12 or 16 seaters to ferry across the passengers.
Currently, there are parking lots available at Nagole, Gaddi Annaram,Gandhi Hospital and Tarnaka. The Metro authorities are on the look out for parking places in 18 other stations.
