Mekapati slams government
Expressing his anger over the power-cuts for agriculturists, the YSR Congress Party MP, Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy criticized the state government saying that the Congress party had failed completely in tackling the power cuts.
Expressing his views strongly at a DRC meeting, he said that unscheduled power cuts have been causing great inconvenience to the farming community.
He added that had the late Dr. YS Rajasekhara Reddy been alive such a crisis would not have arisen.
Mekapati slammed the State Government for its failure to get its due share of allotment of gas and power from the Centre. He also alleged that the government had failed miserably in getting adequate allotment of gas from the Krishna-Godavari Basin for the State owned gas-based power plants from its own share.
